Bahadır Türkgeldi

Portfolio site · Fashion designer

The site’s mark: two mirrored waves, each ending in an eye.

A portfolio site I designed and built for fashion designer Bahadır Türkgeldi.

The first screen: “Bahadır Türkgeldi” beside the mark running into black marbling ink.

It opens on his name, beside ink that moves like marbled paper.

The projects: Shems, Enheduanna, La Baia dei Turchi and Kidzee as blue, red and pink blocks.

Each collection opens as a block of colour.

The Shems page: a character from pencil sketch to vector to final drawing.

Inside, a collection goes from first sketch to finished character.

The patterns: a row of printed textile designs under the heading “Patterns”.

His patterns have an archive of their own.

The first screen on a phone: the ink above his name.
The projects on a phone: the blue Shems block.
The patterns on a phone, side by side.

It keeps its shape on a phone.

His philosophy in English: “Intercultural design unites people…”
The same passage in Italian: “Il design interculturale unisce le persone…”
The same passage in Turkish: “Kültürlerarası tasarımlar…”

And it speaks English, Italian and Turkish.

I designed it, built it, and keep it fast and easy to find.
